In 2017 Kenosha Forgotten Friends began a pet food program to provide and deliver pet food to those in financial need who can no longer afford proper pet for their companion animals. Our goal is to help keep pets in their home and out of the shelters. Many people surrender their lifelong companions simply because of financial hardship and they can no longer afford to feed their pets. We want to help with this heartbreaking situation and offer a monthly delivery of pet food to help keep pets with their families. If you or someone you know needs help feeding their pets please fill out the application and we will contact you.

We always need to restock our shelves. If you would like to donate, here is our wishlist:
Dry adult cat food kibble (5lb bags)
Wet cat food (any variety)
Dry adult dog food kibble (5-10lb bags)
Small packs of cat/dog food treats (any variety)
Cat and dog toys

Requirements and eligibility to receive pet food donations

1. Recipients must be 18 years of age or older. ID may be required
2. Proof of unemployment, income status or disability.
3. Pets are for companionship only and not used for breeding or illegal activities.
4. Pets must part of the family with inside shelter and must be maintained in a healthy environment.
5. Pet food recipients cannot take on additional animals while receiving pet food assistance.
6. Recipients agree not to sell, redistribute or attempt to return to a store any food supplies or care items received from
   Meals4Paws or Kenosha Forgotten Friends.
7. Understand that all food and supplies are donated and while we will attempt to provide special requests we cannot
   guarantee a specific brand or flavor.
8. Agree not to hold Kenosha Forgotten Friends, Meals4Paws, its volunteers and benefactors legally liable in the event
   your pet becomes ill or food upsets their stomach.
9. All pets must be spayed/neutered. We can help with assistance/advising of spaying and neutering.
10. Once approved, you will be eligible for a period of one year and may reapply if needed, providing you adhere to
   all of our requirements.
11. Understand that this program is to supplement and is not intended as the sole source of pet food.
